After listening to David Gregory interview NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg on today's Meet The Press regarding his views on the horrific killings by rifle fire in Newtown, Connecticut, I heard Host David Gregory say an extraordinary thing that stopped me in my tracks. After the interview with Mayor Bloomberg concluded, David Gregory said: "We had invited all 31 pro-gun lawmakers to appear on today's show.....None responded."

Now, what I find extrordinary about that is that the mayor of New York City and several other pundits, including Senator Dianne Feinstein MADE the time to accept the invitation, yet 31 pro-gun lawmakers didn't even respond. The gutless no response would be understandable from the average right wing pro-gun nationally syndicated columnist, but  from your elected representative??

It begs the question: What the hell are you afraid of? The N.R.A.?? If you were elected for your conservative views, your cherished defense of "Freedom", then why hide in your comfortable D.C. bunker when such a horrific event in our society takes place?

I exhort all voters to remember the gutless "No response" your local pro-gun lawmaker took today. Vote the bastards out.
